Wood Family: American Maple

Maple makes the best stuff. Syrup, for example. And me. I’m handcrafted in small batches right here in the USA from sustainably sourced American Maple, making me top of my class when it comes to wooden serving boards. My parents take special care in hand-selecting only the highest quality hardwood when making me so that I can perform well for you and look good while doing it. I serve harder than any tennis court and look great with everything, especially charcuterie.

On one side, I have a built-in 3.5 oz juice groove to catch liquids and keep your countertops clean. On the other, you’ll love my signature Cracker Well, perfect as a catch for diced items during meal prep or for holding crackers, sliced baguettes, nuts, olives, and berries.

Likes: Julia Child, the Fourth of July, pancake breakfasts, meals shared with you and your family… the list goes on.

Dislikes: Dishwashers, baths, or anything involving submersion in water or steam (see our FAQs for details on what I need to be the best cheese and charcuterie serving board I can be). Also, the stove and my family are in a lifelong feud, so please don’t store me directly next to or on top of him—I just can’t stand the heat.

Safe & Non-Toxic: Free of BPA, phthalates, and formaldehyde, I’m proud to be part of a non-toxic cutting board family.

Care: Please hand wash me only. Oil me every two weeks with food-grade mineral oil or beeswax. Find my full care instructions here.

What’s in a Name?

By definition, “Winsome” means attractive and appealing in both appearance and character. Fun fact: My name is also inspired by a beloved (but now-closed) Los Angeles restaurant.

excellent cutting board

I've been using this cutting board for over two years. Two-sides; one with a concave section ( approx 3" wide ) running the length of the board, allowing one to dice onions and other vegetables, crush garlic ( etc ) and store it off the main board. The other side I use for cutting meat; it has an approx 1/4" groove running the full 360 degrees of the rectangular board, allowing for blood to pool without spilling onto your countertop. Important: hand wash only. I made the ( rookie ) mistake of putting my first cutting board in a dish washer, which produced a gigantic crack. Highly recommended.

Nice board

We have one very nice wood block board, but we are ridding ourselves of plastic cookware so we purchased two more wood boards. This board was one of them and we were very impressed with the quick shipping, the packaging of the board. And the quality of the board.

Excellent Quality

This cutting board truly deserves 5 stars. As someone who cooks, and uses a cutting board on a daily basis, I believe I’ve found my new favorite board. It’s a great size for a smaller cooking spaces and the thick maple is beautiful. I also really like the fact that this is a small US company that emphasizes customer service. I actually had a question regarding my new board so I sent an email. To my surprise they responded within minutes to assist me. It was such a positive experience.I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Gorgeous!

WOW! This is a beautiful cutting board. It is heavy, perfectly made and smoother than silk. Now, I just need one a few inches smaller.
