Size: 18 x 14 x 1.25”

Weight: 7.5 lbs

Wood Family: Sustainably Sourced Teak

Best At: Just call me Goldilocks! I’m not too big, not too small, but just right for pretty much anything you want to do in the kitchen. With a capacity of up to 3.5 oz, my juice groove side is ready and willing to keep your counters dry during any kind of liquidy endeavors such as cutting up juicy fruits or carving pieces of meat like steak, brisket, pork chops, or chicken. My other side is completely flat, which is ideal when you need an uninterrupted surface for rolling out doughs and crusts or serving dry food and snacks like pizza, doughnuts, bagels, and the like.

Special Skills: I’m the perfect upgrade for first time home or apartment dwellers like newlyweds or college grads. I’m a tried and true classic cutting board, so if you’re looking for a kitchen buddy to level up your home cooking or baking hobbies–I’m the board for you!

Likes: Homemade tortillas, pizza, impromptu hangouts with friends, housewarming parties, and regular spa treatments every 3 weeks (mineral oil or beeswax only, please!).

Dislikes: Dishwashers, baths, or anything involving submersion in water or steam, and serrated or electric carving knives, which can cause me to splinter. Also, the stove and my family are in a lifelong feud, so please don’t store me directly next to or on top of him; I just can’t stand the heat.

Safe & Non-Toxic: Free of BPA, phthalates, and formaldehyde.

Behind the Name: I am named after the Laurel Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles, a creative hub and home to many rock musicians in the 60's and 70's... (Jim Morrison, Carole King, Neil Young, Frank Zappa... to name a few).

Care: Some maintenance. I’m great for first time board owners and advanced owners alike. I do require regular maintenance, but not as much as some of my siblings. For detailed care instructions click here.
