What’s better than one acacia wood cutting board? Two, of course. Whether you’re a total cheese connoisseur or can’t get enough combos when crafting charcuterie, this is the duo for you. Snack time meets grown-up get-togethers; —I’m timeless and perfect for all your small cutting board needs.

We’re great for cutting fruits, veggies, and filets or serving small meals like bagels or pastries. As our name suggests, we’re a duo, working seamlessly together or just as well apart.

Likes:  We love lounging on the counter, but you can also take us for a spin! Use us as a cutting board and plate, the perfect backdrop for sliced fruits, finger foods, or those days when you’re craving charcuterie for one (or two!).

Dislikes: Dishwashers, baths, or anything involving submersion in water or steam (see our FAQs for details). Also, the stove and my family are in a lifelong feud, so please don’t store us directly next to or on top of him—we just can’t stand the heat.

Safe & Non-Toxic: Free of BPA, phthalates, and formaldehyde, I’m proud to be part of a non-toxic cutting board family.

Care: Please hand wash me only. Oil me every three weeks with food-grade mineral oil or beeswax. Find my full care instructions here.

What’s in a Name?

We love a good Hollywood tale. Think you’ve heard our name before? Well, before there was Hollywood, there was oil. We're named after Edward Laurence Doheny, an American oil tycoon who drilled the first successful well in Los Angeles in 1892. This kicked off a petroleum boom in Los Angeles, which vastly contributed to the growth and expansion of the city.

Soft

Very soft and will immediately scar if used for cutting. I use mine as display

Very good price for good quality, high value cutting boards. Not on par with their end cut boards. Sides are rounded so you can't stand vertically to dry them which is the biggest con. Knife marks stand out very visibly and are present immediately after first use.

Nice cutting boards

The cutting boards are very nice, but the “gift box” they came in was a complete disaster when they arrived. They were not shipped in a shipping box, just the gift box they come in. There were holes in the box and it almost looked like someone opened it. It was a gift, so I didn’t have time to return and reorder, so I used my own box to gift them. Nice product but beware of shipping damage. A shipping box should definitely be used.

Good replacement of plastic cutting boards

I was using plastic cutting boards, but I bought these to be healthier. I am still getting used to the upkeep of these boards, and they are pretty scratched up already. For cutting meat and veggies, they have been great. I like the weight and thickness. I have not had an issue with them moving on the counter.
